A new concept in someone else's space
When La Distileria launched in 2021, they were stepping into a space with a long history that wasn't theirs. The location had spent over a decade as a franchise Italian restaurant, and it looked the part — a dated, awkwardly shaped banquet area, an equally dated bar, and a dining room that simply didn't work.
The owner wasn't just opening a restaurant; he was introducing a brand-new Mexican concept. The space needed to stop reading as the previous tenant — or his own former franchise — and start telling his story the moment a guest walked in.

Designing the brand into the room
The core of the work was identity. We redesigned the entire dining experience around the restaurant's new personality — fun, dynamic, and distinctly La Distileria.
The tired bar became a lively centerpiece that set the tone and the vibe for the whole room. The awkward banquet space was reworked into something that actually flowed, and the dining area was reimagined to feel exciting rather than leftover. Every move pulled the room further from its franchise past and closer to a space that looked and felt like the business it now housed.
A space that earned a second act
The original location carried La Distileria successfully through its first few years. When the business outgrew it and decided to relocate in 2023 for a stronger spot, they brought us back to help with the new venue — a lighter touch this time, but the same goal of making the space unmistakably theirs.
